Good evening, I was reading everyone's posts on the forum and wondered if anyone knew my dad. My father was on the Valley Forge, I believe 1964 - 1968 , his name was Joseph Kato Jr. from Detroit, Michigan. My father died in 2007 and we regrettably had not had much contact in the last years of his life. In any case I am interested in any pictures of him that may be in the cruise book or in your private collections and in getting in touch with anyone who may have known him. I really do not know much about my dad's time in the Navy other than his ship and I believe he was an aircraft controller. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated as I search for a little more insight into who my dad was.
