I am in need of the dates the USS VALLEY FORGE LPH8 was deployed to VIETNAM from May 1964 to May 1968? I need to request the ships logs for this period as I know I was on her for 5 tours and sent back during the 5 th tour to be discharged in May 1968 to Treasure Island in San Francisco. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I know I went ashore on one occassion and was dropped off at a location that was incorrect and came back to the same location only to find this out then. I do not know if this happened to anyone else or not and if so could you advise me where this was and possibly a date this happened to you.
