James served with the 101st Airborne Division LCo 75 Infantry and became MIA April 24, 1971. I recently discovered what a true war hero he was during the last year of my quest for answers. Words can't begin to describe the pain of the loss of your presence and I will never rest easy until you are brought home. You are still missed and loved just as much as over 30 years ago. God Bless You! As a former girlfriend of James', I would like to hear from anyone who has information or comments about James to feel free to contact me.

Bozo was my brother and I have so many memories that I could not begin to tell you. Bozo will be missed very much in the town of Dardanelle. Arkansas. He wass a great athlete. He played football and was on the All Star Team, weighing only 140 lbs. He was also a basketball All State and before joing the Navy he was being recruited by the Chicgo Whilte Sox to play Baseball. He enjoyed life at the fullest. He us rembered in this town as the guy with the great amile and he was always smiling and enjoying life and the people he would meet.

It has been 36 years since we served togather in Vietnam and you haven't been forgotten you will always be in my thoughts

We couldn't be anymore proud of you than we already are, but just wanted you to know that this tribute is for being not only an awesome son but a true blue American.

I never knew him, he died when I was a year old. But I will always think of him. He was a real hero to me. He made the ultimate sacrifice for his country, we should never forget him.

A friend who fell instead of me. Always had a smile for everyone, someone who will be missed forever.

Kenneth and I grew up together and were good friends. After High School he joined the Navy,something he had wanted all his life. Ken's dad served in the Navy in WW2 and Ken wanted to be a sailor also. I am glad he got to live his dream, not many people get to. A few weeks ago I found out Ken was dead. I don't know the details. I honor Ken as a friend and vet of Vietnam and the Cold War. He didn't die in battle but he gave his life for his Country just the same. God bless and rest in peace......

I will miss you Nico. No one now will remind me how my freedom was fought for by your "boys". But I will never forget my 5 years of friendship and love for you. You gave me so much. I will never forget you. You have a permanent place in my heart. I am so sad you are gone.

I wanted to also take the time to thank all of our brave, courageous, and competent US service men and women who are risking their lives, and those who have lost their lives in the war against terrorism. I thank you for making this world a safer place for my children and my granddaughter. Keep fighting the good fight, and may God watch over you until you return home.

Not a day goes by that I don't reflect on the times we spent together and the valuable lessons in life that you taught me. Everything I am today I owe to you and Mom, and I miss you both terribly. You were a very brave, honorable man and I am so proud to have been blessed with such a wonderful role model. I wish you were here to see your beautiful grandkids and your 20mo old great-granddaughter, but they will know you and Mom through me, as I speak of you every chance I get and pass down to them the lessons and the love you taught me. I would like to pay tribute to another brother, CPL.Thomas D.Brannon, who was inducted into the Army on Oct.14, 1950. He was a member of the 25th Infantry Div. He was captured and made a P.O.W.on April 25,1951. he was released on Aug.14, 1953. My brother died at a very young age, due to the atrocities forced upon him as a P.O.W.
Rest in peace, Dear Brother. Your pain and suffering is over.

I would like to pay tribute to my oldest brother, Pvt. William W.Brannon, who was killed on Jan.14, 1944, in the Monte Majo-Cassino area of Italy while a member of the elite First Special Service Force. I wish I had been old enough to have remembered you.

I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO SAY, THANK YOU. YOUR SACRFIC MEANS ALOT. TO ALL THE FAMILIES THAT LOST A LOVED ONE. PLEASE KNOW THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN. THEY SIT NOW WITH GOD, AND THEY WATCH OVER US STILL. To all the Marines I served so proudly with in 1st Marine AirWing, I hope everything went okay after leaving VietNam. And that everyone is well and enjoying life. Knowing upon arriving in the United States you were not welcomed. All I can say is Semper Fi!

Cliff was a World War Two Vet of the war in Europe. He was proud of being a part of the Normandy Landing June 6, 1944. Cliff was a good friend and I am sure a good soldier.... Rest in Peace......

Teddy, our brother, we love and miss you. You were on the SS Granville in the Battle of the Atlantic in World War Two when your ship was sunk by the Germans. You were only a young boy in the Navy when you lost your life for our country. Teddy, you will always be in our hearts. We love you!

May 26th 2002 made 48 years, since the USS Bennington had an explosion which claimed the lives of many of our young Navy Men. Also there were many injured. I would like to let all who read this know, many a hero was made that day.. They helped their fellow shipmates, beyond and above the call, without hesitation. I was one of the Corpsman brought in from the Chelsea Naval hospital, so I knew first hand of the bravery that took place that day. They can be proud to call themselves Bennington shipmates. May they rest in peace and above all, never be forgotten.

To Uncle Herbie who died in the Battle of Hurtgen Forest during WWII: We think of you often and are so proud of you. I wish so much that we could have known you, and I worry so much about your thoughts and feelings as a young man facing battle...Pray for us Brave One...

I miss you Uncle Jack, I didn't appreciate you until you were gone. I should have been there to hold your hand when you died as I was your nurse caring for you as well as your neice. I'll see you in Heaven some day. Love

On May 22, 1997, my grandfather died of cancer. His exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam (1965) led to his death at the age of 57.

I was too young to understand about war when you went to vietnam in 1968, but as the years went by I was amazed by your bravery, you could have hid until the war was over like so many did, but you faced the unknown, and went anyway. for that I will always be proud.

I know only a small portion of what you sacrificed for your country, but I do know what a special friend you were to me. I hope that wherever you are now, you know how thankful I am that you were part of my life.

Though I never knew you, I THANK YOU for making the ultimate sacrifice, so that we can all enjoy the freedoms that we do. May the LORD BLESS all those who continue your fight.
