DOULE, DANIEL R.; age 51; passed away suddenly November 9, 2006. Survived by his adored son Erik age 19; and daughter Kristen age 12 of Cape Floral, FL; Parents Donna and Gordon Doule of OshKosh, WI; sister Deborah (Matthew) Barr of Ortonville, MI; his beloved fiancee Debora Linley of Jacksonville, FL; niece Michelle (Ray) Auch; nephew Chris (Julie) Barr; and two great nieces Alexus and Alaina. Dan was born and raised in Michigan, resided in Jacksonville FL where he retired after 21 years with the U. S. Navy. He was a highly decorated veteran. I would like to make a tribute to Maurice J. Moser Sr., US NAVY WW2. This is my Dad and he was drafted into the US Navy in early 1945. He had 5 children at home but knew the importance of his call to be able to keep America FREE. He was statoined on the USS RUSH, a distroyer. He worked for the railroad and was a fireman so the Navy used his training at making steam on the locomotive into the fire room and thats one of the main duties he did. My brother Gene was a casulity of the war in Veitnam. He was a proud soldier and served in the 60's. He got out and went on with his life until, In 1996 he, and the agent orange he was carrying around in his truck got together and in 1999, It did him in.He ended up with Cancer in his throat. They got the cancer out but in doing it they burned his lungs so bad he needed oxegen and had a hard time breathing. I think he should be remembered as he was a great vet. This is a memorial for my dear friend Laymon, a hero, an amazing friend, leader, a son and so much more. Sgt. Laymon served 2 tours in Iraq (April 2003-April 2004 as well as Nov.2005-June 24th 2006) when he honorably took his life to save many others on that solemn early summer day serving for the 4ID of Ft. Hood, Tx. I honor you my fallen brothers. Henry and James fought in the Battle of Bulge. James was a top notch gunner and Henry was an explosives tech. Henry was able to defuse explosives under bridges so our troops could cross the river to confront the Germans in the Battle of Bulge. I had talk to Henry for many hours before his death in 2006. Henery,a veteran of WW2 has been called to the big roll call in heaven. He passed on Aug.15 2006 at age 85. We did many parades together,even when he didn't feel well,he joined his two Brother;s also of teh WW2 era in the parades. He for sure will be sadly missed by many in out community. After WW2 Henry was manager of the local movie house which he eventually owned,so amny children who are now grwon folks will never forget him. He was an outstandin man during the Battle Of The Bulge,having recieved 2 Purple hearts and a Bronze star for valor. We thank you Henry for doing a great job in WW2,and the happyness you brought to many children.
