I would like to make a tribute to Maurice J. Moser Sr., US NAVY WW2. This is my Dad and he was drafted into the US Navy in early 1945. He had 5 children at home but knew the importance of his call to be able to keep America FREE. He was statoined on the USS RUSH, a distroyer. He worked for the railroad and was a fireman so the Navy used his training at making steam on the locomotive into the fire room and thats one of the main duties he did. My whole family was proud to have him for there father.

Sgt. Benjamin J. Laymon
Nov. 15th 1983-June 24,2006

This is a memorial for my dear friend Laymon, a hero, an amazing friend, leader, a son and so much more. Sgt. Laymon served 2 tours in Iraq (April 2003-April 2004 as well as Nov.2005-June 24th 2006) when he honorably took his life to save many others on that solemn early summer day serving for the 4ID of Ft. Hood, Tx. For this man, many more are living in peace and among the free, and for that we should all bow our heads and thank him for his unforgetable duty as an U.S. American Soldier.

I honor you my fallen brothers. Henry and James fought in the Battle of Bulge. James was a top notch gunner and Henry was an explosives tech. Henry was able to defuse explosives under bridges so our troops could cross the river to confront the Germans in the Battle of Bulge. I had talk to Henry for many hours before his death in 2006. He was a cool dude and so was my Uncle James.

I salute you and will talk with a proud voice about you men till the day I die

Peace my brothers!

BILL HERBERT
"Tycophil"

floral tribute
There is a port of no return,
Where ships may ride at anchor for a little space
And then, some starless night the cable slips,
Leaving an eddy at the mooring place...
Gulls, veer no longer. Sailor, rest your oars.
No tangled wreckage will be washed ashore.
Shipmate rest your oars.

Today we mourn the loss of Bill and honor him as a Veteran, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Philatelist and Friend.

To Shirley Fay, Donavan and family
May we extend our deepest condolences to you on the loss of your Bill and our Friend Tycophil.
